A high fashion afternoon tea has landed in London – and Anna Wintour is the star of the show.
The US Vogue editor has been recreated in vanilla biscuit form, complete with signature sunglasses and iconic bob hairstyle.
It’s the latest Prêt-à-Portea afternoon tea from The Berkeley hotel, modelled on the most memorable designer looks of the season.

One of the biggest fashion moments of Spring/Summer 2021 was Moschino’s show, featuring 40 looks on miniature marionettes instead of models.
Biscuit Wintour is a nod to the tiny Anna puppet that graced the ‘frow’ in trademark shades.

Another highlight was London-based designer Michael Halpern’s pink and black feather couture gown.
Here it is (above) in raspberry compote cake form with a domed praline crunch and black wafer legs on top.

Other standout looks include Donatella Versace’s ocean-themed cocktail dress, reimagined as a coconut darquoise and topped with a sugar starfish.
While Isabel Marant’s disco-inspired metallic collection makes an appearance in the form of an almond sponge, glazed in glittering purple and matching chocolate bow.

Berkeley Executive Pastry Chef Mourad Khiat reveals: “Every season we study each and every fashion show for the standout looks we can then magic into cakes for our fashion-obsessed guests.
“The Spring/Summer shows looked a little different due to the global pandemic, but the designers still managed to inspire and dazzle in new and imaginative ways.
“We can’t wait to welcome guests back to The Berkeley and hope that the sheer fantasy of catwalk fashion will delight those returning for Prêt-à-Portea.’
The Spring/Summer 21 season of Prêt-à-Portea: The Couture Cakewalk is £60pp and served from 1pm-5.30pm every day
