Self-proclaimed ‘master chocolatier’ Lindt has an impressive selection of advent calendars for 2024. We love the Lindt Chocolate Factory advent calendar, £20, that doubles as a Christmas decoration. It’s sold out online, but still available to buy in Lindt shops. Their Teddy Advent Calendars start from £7. Or choose a Lindt Pick & Mix Advent Calendar, £15, to fill with your favourite chocolates.

Fortnum’s Chocolate Truffle Selection Advent Calendar, £38
There are more expensive Fortnum & Mason advent calendars on offer this year, like the Fortnum’s Feasting Advent Calendar, £200, and the Nutcracker Advent Calendar, £120. But we’re fans of the much more affordable, but still ‘treat yourself’ Fortnum’s Chocolate Truffle Selection Advent Calendar (£38), including champagne, Christmas pudding and chocolate orange truffles.

Best food and drink advent calendars for 2024 (not chocolate)
Bird & Blend Tea Advent Calendar, £38
