Another adults only venue, The Birdhouse Treehouse is a new addition to The Yurt Retreat in Somerset. Set on an organic farm, guests have access to the wood-fired hot tub on the decking and the woodland sauna. There is also the option to stay in a Yurt or Roundhouse on this luxury glamping site.

The Stack, Cornwall

A sunken hot tub in beautiful surroundings awaits at this 19th century former engine house. If you’re looking for a hot tub stay to take family or friends, head to Glan Y Mor. This spacious self-catering lodge has three bedrooms and unrivalled views across the Taf Estuary and Carmarthenshire countryside. To soak all this up there is a balcony with dining table and private hot tub. The complex also has a spa with infinity pool, outside infinity hydrotherapy pool and themed showers and is named after Dylan Thomas – Wales’s most famous poet. The small town beneath the lodges has Dylan’s Birthday Walk, his Boathouse and writing shed, both of which are now museums, and Browns Hotel. The latter is a great place to eat.

There’s a definite safari-style vibe to the Wolf Wood Treehouses, as each is accessed via a rope bridge, crafted from locally grown timber and has a wood-lined interior. It’s rustic but luxurious design allows you to completely immerse yourself in its surrounding 13-acre Devonshire countryside. There are three luxury treehouses to choose from, each with bi-fold doors that lead to a large private deck. They all come with hot tubs, sun loungers and outdoor seating. If it is picturesque views you seek as you splash in the bubbles, book a stay at the lodges at Penlan. Set on an idyllic farm on a Welsh hillside, which is also just an hour from the beach, there are two luxury cabins to choose from, both with hot tubs on the decking. Eathelin Treehouse, Worcestershire

Eathelin Treehouse is a rural retreat with a twist set on the grounds of a working farm. To get to the treehouse guests must follow the old-fashion wooden signs. The treehouse itself is twisted around an aged ash tree with a hand-carved bannister. At night the balcony is illuminated with handcrafted lights. Below is the hot tub and BBQ area, perched on the edge of the wildlife lake. While we love a hot tub, we think the interiors of this treehouse are even more spectacular than the outside.
