With our lives put on hold again due to lockdown 3.0, we all need a big cheer up right now – and one small business is aiming to do just that.
The Little Surprises Company is running a digital wellness festival, which will begin on Sunday 17th January and end on Monday the 18th, which is more commonly known as Blue Monday; the most depressing day of the year.
In a bid to beat our January blues, Restival is two days of wellness-based workshops, with everything from pilates and boxing, to flower arranging and healthy eating – and even a virtual spa (which we’re very excited about).
And the best thing is it’s all online, so there is absolutely no way it can get cancelled.

Hannah-Beth Clark, founder of The Little Surprises Company, told The Boutique Handbook: ‘We really want to spread some joy in January with this event. More than ever, people need a pick-me-up, and we hope Restival can give them that.’
With two full days of workshops, starting with healthy breakfasts at 10am on the Sunday and ending with an 8pm sleepy yoga session on Monday, there is certainly a lot to do.
‘The idea is there is something for everyone,’ Hannah-Beth says. ‘And people can feel free to dip in and out of workshops as they choose.’
Early bird tickets for Restival wellness festival cost £20, with the option to add a self-care kit or some delicious chocolate brownies to your order.
