We’ve rounded up the best independent online wine retailers in the UK, so all you have to do is click the ‘buy’ button.
Emile Wines

This female founded wine business is based in Tottenham where they host tastings and events, but those that don’t live in London can still order their delicious wine online for UK-wide delivery.
With 15 years’ experience in the wine industry, Emile Wines are burgundy specialists and are happy to recommend bottles to suit your budget, from £20 and under to their more expensive Cellar Collection. Shop their Curated Cases for inspiration or join their wine club for deliveries to your door every three months.

Parched Wines/Natty Boy Wines

An exciting addition to the wine scene, we include these two as a pair as they are branches of the same business.
Natty Boy Wines, as the name suggests, sells natural wines with a range skewed towards minimal intervention. While Parched Wines is the more classic arm of the operation with a big focus on sustainability.
Bottles start from £8
Vintner

This independent wine retailer aims to cut through the bulls*** to make buying vino online easier for everyone.
They handpick the best from small producers around the world and collate them under the occasion you would drink them. Think date night, cosy night in, Sunday sipping – and even party for one.
Bottles start from £8.50 for wine to £59 for champagne
Gnarly Vines

This natural wine shop in east London not only has an excellent name, it also serves up some of the best wines we’ve tried lately.
With collections ranging from Pet Nat to Wild New World, it’s hipster but there’s something for everyone.
Check out Gnarly’s Top Picks and their £15 And Under section
Forest Wines

Another neighbourhood shop which does online delivery, Forest Wines is run by a husband and wife duo in Walthamstow, east London.
These guys have been going since 2014, specialising in natural and organic wines, craft beers and selected spirits. You can even buy snacks on their website like black truffle crisps and spicy broad beans.
We love their mixed cases. Get three bottles for £35 or 6 bottles for £70
Lekker Wines

If you love South African wine, this is your new online go-to.
Set up by Karol-Ann, a South African now living in Lancaster, Lekker Wines champions lesser-known, smaller producers, as well as ethical co-operatives who help the little guy break into the market.
Another great one for mixed cases, definitely check out their offers page for some great deals.
Bottles start from £6.95
Veo Wines

Veo Wines, which specialises in organic and vegan varieties, launched in late 2020 and is a welcome edition to the online wine market.
Not only is their imagery beautiful, the wines are all made with care by smaller organic producers.

The Home Cellar

Another newcomer, The Home Cellar is an independent online wine store specialising in restaurant-worthy wines you can drink at home.
They aim to keep browsing to a minimum by providing a small but fine selection for customers to choose from.
