Dishpatch
Dishpatch is the place to go for restaurant meal kits and they have some great ones you can still order in time for Valentine’s. This year’s options include a Valentine’s Dinner à Deux by Michel Roux Jr (pictured) centred around a classic Beef Fillet Wellington and a Whisky Chocolate Tart for dessert (£120). Renowned nose-to-tail restaurant St. JOHN has a Valentine’s Cassoulet Supper available for £95. Or throw a Taco Party with Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder with a kit from El Pastor (£59). Indulge Dining
Indulge Dining was set up by chef Andy Bowler during lockdown, drawing on his years of experience working in Michelin-star kitchens. He started off delivering exceptional fine dining meal kits to the people of Walthamstow, east London, where he is based, but this has since expanded nationwide. Expect dishes like Seabass with Prawn, Leek and Dill and Pork Belly, Red Cabbage and Beetroot. Wine pairings are also available.

Lina Stores
Italian deli Lina Stores has restaurants in London, but if you live further away you can now order one of their meal kits to enjoy at home. This special Valentine’s kit includes fresh Focaccia, Bella di Cerignola Olives, Fionocchiona Salame and Truffle Sottocenere Cheese. For mains indulge in a pasta kit. Choose from Truffle, Lamb Ragu, Nduja Ravioli or Pumpkin Ravioli. This one includes a bottle of Italian Prosecco and Pistachio & Olive Oil cake to finish.

Love steak? Order one you can cook at home with the Côte Steak Date Night Menu. Choose from Ribeye, Fillet or Chateaubriand, Scallops or French Onion Soup to Start and Chocolate Mousse or Crème Caramel for pud. There is the option to add a bottle of wine too if you want to.

If fancy Chinese is more your taste, order a Champagne Valentine’s Banquet from Lu Ban Kitchen. The box includes 10 Siu Mai Pork Dumplings, Roast Duck Pancakes and Slow Braised Jiang Beef with Rice. Each dish will arrive with simple instructions on how to heat and a bottle of Lu Ban Drappier Champagne.

Mandira’s Kitchen

Libertine Burger – winners of the UK’s best burger award – are based in the West Midlands, but now you can tuck into their tasty burgers anywhere in the country as their meal kits are available nationwide. They have four Valentine’s kits to choose from. All come with Bacon Cheeseburgers, Cheese Tater Tots, Deep Fried Pickles and Dirty Mayo and Libertine Chocolate Fudge Brownies. Choose from Margaritas, Espresso Martinis, Mojitos or Negroni ready made cocktails to wash it down.
